michael fabulous – run sound out a business / version (VG. No help with the matrix – this appears as RMM 1436 BS- SPiDERMAN / 10222 which belongs to a different tune entirely. This appears to be a dubplate version of his “Run certain boy out a business” tune and is pure digi-wickedness.) £100

Lloyd Charmers – Time Is Getting Hard / Tony Gregory – I Sit By The Shore (Good/Fair JA 1967 blank. Took a while to find out what this was as the matrix number is different to the proper release – CS3515. A nice rocksteady number from Coxone on one side and a soppy R&B number on the flip. Recently went for over £500 on the Bay. Really quite bad condition so priced extra cheap) £50

Hebrew Children’s inner circle – dog & bone / boney version (VG 7″ on Ackee from 1973) £10

Turnel McCormack and The Cordells / Fabulous five inc. – Irie festival / instrumental (VG condition 1974 7″ on a white Harry J label. To my ears this sits square in the middle of reggae, ska and carnival on the vocal side with the much better instrumental removing all but a hint of the carnival vibe of the vocal. Wicked) £8

Doctor G – Nuh tek nuh plane (VG 7″ on D.J.G. production. Heavy digital from 89 with a nice, sparse dub on the B. Writing on label on one side) £5

Rasheeda – Lion (G+ crackly Rockers International 7″. Augustus Pablo produced concious roots from 1998. The vocal version rules here. Recommended) £8

Trinity & Sugar Minott / The ring craft posse – Ring Craft Rock / Black beard rock (VG 12″ on Mobiliser music. Nice tune and a great version) £3

Island in the stream – Delroy Wilson & Jennifer Lara (VG Londisc 12″ with version. Yes, it’s the Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton tune….) £1

Winston groovy – from we met / lay back in the arms of someone / I’m the one / I will be here (VG 4track lovers 12″ on Three Kings. Scibbles on labels otherwise would be VG+) £1

Seabreeze – madame – rumba fever / hot hot hot (VG Hot Vinyl 12″ Soca medley) £1

The Propositions – Africana (VG 7″ on Movement. Close to VG+. The original with the yellow label and red stripe. This little 7″ has been with me for nearly 20 years now and started off my love affair with the funky flute! Unbeatable afro-funk that goes for crazy money) £100

Junior – Perdóname / The Snake (VG 7″ RCA Victor – 3-10887. What a groove. Superb Spanish funky rock from 73) £12

Mary Jane Girls – All Night Long / Musical Love (TMGT 1309 12″ VG+ – close to NM) £5

Willie Hutch – Party Down / Just Another Day (VG+ Motown 7″. Bside plays VG.) £3

sister sledge – love ain’t easy / cream of the crop (VG Cotillion 7″. Wow – neither side is on YouTube. “Cream…” is a great disco track but the Bside is the prize – a wicked slow burning funky number.) £3

Creative Source – Migration / I Just Can’t See Myself Without You (VG+ Sussex 7″) £2

M. & O. Band – Let’s Do The Latin Hustle / Switch Back (VG 7″) £1

Ohio Players – Fire / Together (VG Mercury 7″) £2

whisky david – tina / groupie (3-10870 RCA 7″ promo. Two great psyche sides on this Spanish promo.) £9

Arrival – Out of desperation (G+ CBS 7035 7″. Forget the A side and skip to the funky psycheadelic monster on the flip) £8

Jupiter – i think found someone / don’t ask me why (VG+ folky 7″ on Sunlight. Small writing on side A of label and a couple of crackles on B stopping it from being a NM) £1

Ten Wheel Drive With Genya Ravan – Morning Much Better / Stay With Me (VG 7″ Polydor – 2066 034 ) £3
