JUST BONGO –  MOVE ON UP / Don’t give it up (VG/VG 7″)  £2

Michael Henderson – I Can’t Help It / Make Me Feel Better  (VG+ 7″ in Original VG Bhudda company sleeve. Great p-funk style business) £2

Minnie Riperton – Adventures In Paradise (VG/VG Epic LP. few crackles between tracks. COMES IN LTD INNER COLOURED PIC LYRIC BAG. Just the ultimate voice. So many good tracks.) £12

Elkie Brooks – Live And Learn (VG+ Lp with VG cover. “The Rising Cost Of Love” the star attraction, but so much else too.) £3

Clyde Brown – Ghetto Cowboy / You’ve Gone Too Far  (VG promo 7″ with writing on label on one side) £1

Sexy Bus Stop/The Bamboo (VG+ 7″ from Japan. 2 sides of unbeleviable funky disco) £29

Chicago – Chicago 13 (With the disco bomb track “Streetplayer”) (VG/VG+ LP) £5

Thumbs Aloft – Bedmo Disco Volume 1 (NM 12″ pointless01. Superb re-edit of McCartney’s ‘coming up’ + 2more) £14

Steinski – The motorcade sped on (VG 7″ ep track on Various – NME’s Hat-Trick. A cut&paste classic. You need this.) £2

Atmosfear – Telepathy (Crackly G+ 12″ Elite) £2

Afrika Bambaataa & Soulsonic Force – Looking For The Perfect Beat (VG POSPX 561 12″. Could well clean up to a VG+. No cover. 4 versions. One of the definitive electro tunes. Better than ‘Planet rock’ for my money….) £2

Girls – DJ Junk (NM 12″ 4 track white label with press release. Part battlebreaks, part mash-up, but it’s the track featuring Blade that kills it. Got an instrumental too…) £3

Various – Live At Soul All Dayer Of The Century (VG/VG. Easily the rarest record on the list this month. This is an absolute epic LP. If you think mash-ups are a new thing you should check out these live DJ cuts from 1987. With overdubbed airhorn and MCs – including a young Mike West/Rebel MC. A slice of DJ history that’s up there with Double D and Steinski.) £45

D.S.M. – Warrior Groove (DAZZ-45 1985 12″ VG. Copying the beat from Strafe’s ‘Set it off’ and laying down a minimal London groove and scratching over the top.) £3

Jimmy Jay – “Les Cool Sessions” (Vinyl F/Sleeve VG. A couple of skips means that I can’t give this the G+/VG rating it really deserves. Great double LP of hip hop from France’s golden era. Only chance to pick this up for under a twenty note…) £4

Throw The D – Throw The D (G+ 2LIVE Second To None 12″. Odd house mix of the 2 Live Crew’s best track and some battlebreaks samples on one side. The other side is the killer – and slightly less crackly – where they run the vocal over the top of a Futura 2000/Clash bassline and that Amerie/Funk inc break) £5

Rocksteady DJ’s – Live On Tour (VG vinyl/VG+ sleeve. 12″ DJ9703 Mixmaster Mike, Qbert, Apollo on 6 tracks of pure turntablism.) £5

Original Squad, The – All The Blacks (VG Music of Life 12″ with 6 mixes. A pretty bad rap, to tell the truth but the instrumental – based around PE’s ‘Security of the 1st world’ beat – is good) £1

Jigsaw – I’ve Seen The Film, I’ve Read The Book / Mention my name (VG. BASF promo 7″ with no cover.Writing on label on one side. I’d have been tempted to put this in an 80s section on account of the Hall&Oats/Sky high-style of the Bside but it was made in 1974!) £1

Electric Light Orchestra – Shine A Little Love / Jungle (S JET 12 144. VG+ white vinyl 12″ with VG cover. Beastie Boys break on one side. Ultimate guilty pleasure track on the other! Best quality copy I’ve ever had of this. Most coloured vinyl sounds terrible and this release is notorious for the crackles but I’d grade it VG+ even if it was black vinyl. This was fetching £20 twenty years ago, funny how things change…) £2

Seals & Crofts – Unborn Child (W2761 LP. original usa 1974 vinyl LP. VG some crackles, rough sleeve. More loveliness from our favourite folk-rockers. A shame I can’t find ‘Desert people’ on YouTube – it’s a cracking track.) £8

Ambrosia – Ambrosia (VG Prog LP BT 434 on 20th century records.) £3

Various – Alive (VG/VG Key records xian comp with the fantastic psyche track “Jesus Is Coming Again” by All Things New) £10

The wine of Lebanon (s/t VG+ Xian folk psych LP on Dove from 1976) £7

Bill Doggett – Fat Back / Si Si Cisco (VG+ Sue 7″) £5

harold burrage – master key / faith (VG 45 rpm M-pact single) £8

Redd Foxx Bbq, The – Don Ho / Glitter People (NM Butterfly Records 7″ that sounds like Beck and the Gorillaz doing an R&B act) £4

Naked Truth, The – The Stripper / The Shing-A-Ling Thing (VG+ RCA promo) £4

Rolling Stones  – Miss You (VG/G+ EMI 2802 7″ in a Stones cut-out ‘lips’ sleeve) £1

Spiral Tribe – Panasonic (12″, Tra) (Network23) (G+ with crackles – when mint this tune is worth a lot of money) £10

DJ Junk – Don’t Stop / Rush Higher (VG WL 12″ with stamp) £2

New Decade – Statue Of Gold 4 Track EP (VG/VG Out Of Romford Records 12″) £2

Aladdin – Mash Up ’96 / Woman That Rolls (All-time classic b-side tune! VG+) £10
