Rock and pop records for sale – Sept 2012
**Records reduced – 23rd Sept**
Fire, The – Father’s Name Is Dad / Treacle Toffee World (Legendary psychadelic pop from 1968 on what is clearly a Decca reissue. Printing on label isn’t good so I’d even guess it’s not legit. F12753) £9
Shocking Blue, The – Venus / Hot Sand (VG+ French 7″ with a G+ p/s. Disc’Az – AZ 10.473. If you’ve never heard the flip of this particular release – oh my days – you’re in for a treat. Fuzzy sitar psyche that’s up there with their best tracks) £8
Al Kooper – You Never Know Who Your Friends Are (VG+ LP CBS – S 63651) £6
Velvet Underground, The – White Light / White Heat (VG LP Polydor – SPELP 73 reissue) £5
Pacific Gas & Electric – Are You Ready? / Staggolee (VG+ French 7″ CBS – 5039 with an absolutely knackered pic sleeve. Great funky bluesey rock) £3
Pink Floyd – Meddle (FAIR LP. Harvest – SHVL 795, French 1978 reissue with gatefold sleeve. Skips once or twice in Echoes. Otherwise would be graded VG- for light crackles and pops throughout. Their best LP – in my opinion – and a chance to snap it up for next to nothing.) £4
Deep Purple – Black Night / Speed king (VG French 7″ Harvest – 2C 006-91714) £3
Planet Gong – Opium For The People (VG Affinity – AFS 101 7″ in G+ p/s) £2
Paul Weller – Hung Up (VG+ 4 track 12″ Go! Discs – GODX 111) £2
Gradings used are Goldmine standard (http://www.discogs.com/help/mp-grading.html)
